ABOUT ME

I had been thinking about egg retrieval since I was 28... fast forward 7.5 years and I am now 35.  I decided since I am not married and have no children, I want to freeze my eggs in case I ever decide that I want to have a child. 

 

Motherhood hasn't always been something I dreamed about like most women.  I have been in a solid relationship for 10 years, I work long hours in federal government, I have a side business and Joe has his business, and I enjoy going on trips and going out whenever I want to.  However, there's no telling what the future may bring or if we would ever eventually want a family.

 

This procedure allowed me to have the ability to say AT LEAST I TRIED.  I have zero regrets about it.  I now feel like I am not constantly thinking about a ticking clock or that my eggs are going to empty out of the basket by the time I get around to it.
