Ganirelix full syringe at 9am.

I had my appointment at 9am on a Sunday. During my ultrasound, my AFC increased a bit to 6 with 13 follicles on right (largest was 20.5mm) and 6 on my left with 5 follicles (largest was 18.2mm).

Progesterone: 2.72ng

Estradiol: 3675pg

LH: <0.100mlU

The doctor initially ordered Pregnyl for me but then after the blood work, it was changed to Lupron and HCG 5500. Lupron is taken when you have a lot of large eggs in your ovaries that could result in hyperstimulation.

Turns out TONIGHT at 11pm sharp would be my trigger shots! I didn't even need the extra Ganirelix/Cetrotide (which was supposed to be for Monday morning) so there went $112 :( But on the bright side, then I didn't need to purchase three more Menopur powders either. Those things are about $80/each anyways so I didn't fret about it. Most people end up with way more medication than just one "cheaper" injection left like I did. #blessed

At 11pm sharp, I did my HCG in my belly and Joe took the 3" needle and gave me my trigger of Lupron in my upper hip/buttocks. Although this was a long needle, it didn't hurt one bit.

No eating or drinking anything after Midnight... surgery TOMORROW!
